Abstract: Methods- The patient presented to ECU SoDM Oral Medicine Clinic for evaluation and treatment of a pedunculated pedal shaped palatal lesion
and white lesions throughout her mouth. Excisional biopsy of the palatal lesion was performed after obtaining clinical photographs.

Results- The surgical pathology report obtained from the biopsy revealed that the lesion was pyogenic granuloma, and not a traumatic fibroma as it had initially been diagnosed. The white lesions were diagnosed as oral fungal infection and improved after treatment with medication.

Conclusion- This is a unique case due to the atypical clinical presentation and location, which emphasizes the importance of proper histological diagnosis of oral lesions. Recurrent generalized candidiasis was suspected to be due to undiagnosed systemic
Summary: To present a case report of an atypical presentation of oral pyogenic granuloma combined with generalized white lesions.
