Poster Information
Abstract: Diagnosis and management of brainstem strokes can be difficult and radiologists are in a position to significantly contribute by recognising imaging features of specific brainstem syndromes.

We present radiological appearances of common and rarer brainstem stroke syndromes, together with their underlying causes demonstrated by vascular imaging. These include: Lateral medullary, Medial medullary, Weber syndrome and Inferior medial pontine syndrome.
Summary: A pictorial review of brainstem stroke syndromes and their vascular causes.
