Abstract: In this infographic, we present four powerful non-NGS technologies for gene panel. The principle and characteristics of each method are introduced. We also compare the detection types and throughput of each method to give you a basic idea on how to choose the most suitable and economical non-NGS gene panel for your projects.Summary: MassARRAY, Multiplex Snapshot, MLPA, and ARMS-PCR are non-NGS technologies that offer competitive alternations to NGS-based gene panels with their own specialties. Non-NGS technologies are more compatible with the research while keeping your cost down at the same time.
