Abstract: El polen del café es polimórfico e isopolares o heteropolares, con forma prolato –esferoidal de ámbito circular o cuadrangular, tamaño mediano, tricolporados, estefanocolporados (cuatro colpos) o pericolporados, de color amarillo, con agrupación monade.Summary: Coffea Arábica L. es un arbusto de 2 a 4 m de altura, son de color verde oscuro y brillante en la parte superior y verde claro en el interior ovales y terminan en punta, sus bordes son ondulados.
