Abstract: Giloy is one of the most beneficial medicinal plant in the Ayurvedic system of Medicine. Giloy is also known as Guduchi, Amrita, Gurcha or Heart-leaved
moonseed (Gitanjali Devi, 2020). A wide variety of chemical compounds such as alkaloids, glycosides, diterpenoid lactones, steroids, sesquiterpenoid, phenolics, aliphatic compounds and polysaccharides (Anju Meshram et al., 2013).
Summary: Herbal product’s interest is increasing for treatment and preventive purpose.
From the study of this plant, we observed that Giloy contains important
nutrients and components that are useful for the health.
