Abstract: The novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, emerged in December 2019, leading to a global pandemic within a few months. The fear of catching the disease, the anxiety of keeping our dear ones safe and the dubiety of having a normal life again has started to take a toll on the mental health and behaviour of both young and old. With a potential effect of the disease on mental health, as evidenced by the SARS and MERS pandemics , it is important to develop early methods of identification, prevention and coping to stress for the vulnerable population .Summary: Poster presentation on the state of mental health during the covid 19 pandemic.Report abuse »
