Abstract: Experimental challenges
20-80% of LC data must be reanalyzed because:
1. Open access methods are too generic & give sub par results
2. Retention time shifts over the ~5 hours needed to run a 96 well plate & over column lifetime
3. Column overloading when samples are injected directly from reaction plate
4. Targeted vs. untargeted processing 5. Unexpected by products

Technology challenges
1. Many instrument vendors & data formats
2. Databases that are slow at retrieving hyphenated data
