Abstract: Introduction: oral contraceptives are defined as drug for preventing pregnancy containing hormones like estrogen and progesterone.
Method: there are two method in using ocp's, they are combined pill and progesterone only pill.
Result:the contraceptives usage scenario in india shows that most of women of India are more comfortable using other contraceptives methods than ocp's
Conclusion: a women is advised not to take the ocp's drug if she is pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetics e.t.c..
